Get Traffic Fast to your site! My List! What I’ve found works !

1. Stumblexchange and diggxchange.com some of the best ways to get some serious traffic to your website is to use social bookmarking sites like these and these sites help you by getting your site and stories dugg a lot quicker.

2. Type into google free to advertise website / forum and you will find a variety of place which will let you advertise your site for free and is an excellent way to get links to your site.

3. Website Auctions like on www.sitepoint.com ,www.digitalpoint.com and ebay you can list websites for sale and for auction, and at the bottom of post list your main website . I’ve found this also to be a good source of free traffic.

4. Directories spend about half hr a day submitting your site to any free directories you can find and that way you are getting back links to your site.

5. If you have a few sites link them together using a banner pull down menu like the one on my site www.imonmyway.info , and on www.ifroggy.com .I’ve found a lot of users use this cause its there . A good way to share traffic around your network of site.

6. Write an article stick it in relevant forums to your website topic and at the bottom make sure to mention more of this information can be found at your website.

7. If you own a blog can promote it using these sites:

8. Directory Sites if you have a new directory and want to promote it to get traffic you should submit at webmaster forums such as www.v7n.com. www.iwebtool.com/talk , www.digitalpoint.com , www.webmaster-talk.com , www.geek-talk.com and any other webmaster sites you can find.

9. Any one if you have a blog is this paid one www.reviewme.com A site which lets you buy the privilege of having a top blogger write a review of your site, product/service in return for a one off payment

10. Use adbrite or google adsense with a good keyword targeted campaign using any old words won’t work have to be good targeted words.

11. If you have RSS feeds from your site , make sure you submit them to anywhere on the net you can like www.technorati.com etc , as they will generate a lot of links to your site and help increase traffic fast.

get your site into topsites , you can find them for every domain possible, and some are really worth it.

Very helpful list. Point #4 (submitting to directories) is a good one, especially your point about pacing yourself.

Too many people seem to burn out on directory submissions when trying to go through hundreds at a sitting and then never go back to it.

Just a few a day over months can add up to hundreds!
