PR Prediction not working?

Is it just me or is the pr prediction not working.

It works 1/2 of the time. If it doesn't work, just refresh the page.

Hi there,

I always get a cannot determine error. And I have refreshed about 20 times and still no luck

. I get this error all the time, and for some reason (out of luck) one day it might work, but usually by the next day I get that error again.

There are on average 14 page loads on the pagerank prediction tool each second. On each page load, users are checking 3 domains at a time (on average). That's a total of 42 check-ups each second.

The prediction tool doesn't cache the results. Each time you click submit, the tool calculates the future pagerank at that moment and returns it to the browser. To calculate a prediction of one domain, the tool makes 11 connections.

So the server, is making about 462 connections per second.. and that is just for the pagerank prediction tool. The backlink checker is another killer, and so is pagerank checker etc.

I'm sure now you understand why it's down most of the times

. I think it needs a cache system.

It seems to be working fine for me today but I still can't get the (*#$&*&^ backlink checker to work.

Backlink checker doesnt work at all.I guess i will have to use SE for that.

Thanks, I wasn't complaining, but it made me understand why the tool does this now. Hope other people understand too. You must have purchased some powerful servers then

It may be because Google is updating its servers so it cannot retrieve results. Don't worry all should be OK soon.
