Default Whatta?

When I emter my domain with the www it shows up just fine, but when I don't use the www I get an error page (not even mine). Can anything be done about that?

That's tthe thing. Now one with the www works good, but the other one still shows the error. Unless I call it through the ssl.

Three days later they registered it to an employee of theirs. And tried to tell me that's how long it normally takes and how it;s normally done. I called them on their BS.
I have fixed the issue last night. Still not sure what happened. But it seems to work fine now. Only took me 17 days.
Anyway. Don't use Host Gator for anything.

Thank You all.

Did you fix the issue or did it start working automatically?

I am not really sure. I kept going back and forth in the registrar and I had rewritten all the .htaccess file many times, rebuild the indexes couple of times and reinstalled the Frontpage extensions twice. As well I have removed some of the Javascript from the pages (i.e. snap, and some heavier once). After all of that I could not stay up anymore and went to have a couple hour nap. I woke up and almost everything worked. The last thing that started to work was actually the ability to login into the cpanel through domain name rather than the IP. But it works now.

Sadly because of my stroke a year ago (or whatever the hell it was) this overload took it's toll on me. So I would have to take it very slow for the next week or so and hope that I can recover.

Thank you all for Your help. It is much appreciated. Please PM me links to Your sites (graphics allowed) and I will post them on the links page of the new site.

That's what I use. However the new fox is cr*p. It is so slow that even IE is better rated. Even with various hacks and mods it still is very slow. Opera is the best, but it is barely compatible with most things out there.

I don't think the browser you use will make much of a difference. It sounds more like a name server issue than a browser issue.

I hate HostGator. They tried to screw me and now I am trying to find a way to put them out of business. Strangely BBB is being really listening to me. Maybe it's because HG has 18 complaints with 12 of them in just one Year. Aside from the fact that they commited fraud.
