The cognitive and social sciences are going online. More and more labs are conducting research on the Internet, but mostly in survey format. Increasing bandwidth means that dynamic experiments can be run over the web.

At least, that's what we're trying to do:

So please volunteer for an experiment. They take about 5 minutes. The one we really need large numbers for (about 2000) is vacognition.wjh.harvard.edu/VSTMTime

There is also a good description (I think) of how and why the Internet is transforming cognitive and social science.
