Newbie here!!

My name is Janette Twoey and I am the owner/operator of Twoeys Treasure Trove. As you may be able to tell by the store name I have a gift shop and am now trying to expand to an online store . . . in my free time!!! Ha Ha, like there is such a thing. Anyway, the link to my store is http://www.twoeystreasuretrove.atomicshops.com and I am here because I need some help in understanding the entire 'marketing' concept for on line. I am real good at the snail mail and hard copy stuff, but am quite baffled by the online world. Any advise you can pass my way would be greatly appreciated.
