I have someone who is right now on there 53rd attempt to place an order on my site.. Each order they try the last 4 numbers on the credit card number changes 10 digits..

My question is how do I stop them?

Then, is there a way to report them?

If I look up the IP address it comes up in Nigeria..
IP: 216.250.221.146

The security software on my site is saying..

AVS info: No address or zip match (N)
CVV info: 3 digit(s) / No Match (N)

One of the way you can banned the ip from coming in. If you are using cpanel, you can choose to ban an ip from coming in. Check your cpanel for the feature. I believe most of the CPANEL has it.

Or, you can either contact your webhost support, ask them on how to ban the ip via the CPANEL.

Banning IP Addresses Using .htaccess
> > > Must use a Html Text Editor.

> Step One
Add this to your .htaccess file at the root www directory, in other words, don't overwrite the existing file.

<Files 403.shtml>
order allow,deny
allow from all
</Files>

> Step Two
Add the IP's to Ban.

deny from 69.42.67.196
deny from 4.79.248.8

One line for each IP address preceded by " deny from "

The .htaccess file will look like this:

Thanks for the help, it looks like whoever, gave up at order attempt #92 .. Too bad to, they racked up $337,488.64 .. That would have been a new daily record for us!
