Hi, im fuser and ive created a new design for my directory. After selling all of my directories, i decided to keep my last one. Its not strong, its only PR2 but its free so if you want to add your site, you are welcomed. I already have +5000 sites in the database and i want it to be bigger and bigger. So, i kept this directory and made a custom design. Its very 2.0ish and it has a search engine feeling. I use the phpld 3.1 script with no link back.

Well, if you like it let me know and i you dont or have something to improve it also let me know. What mods should i include without changing completely the design??

Like it has been said before, the directory is nice and clean, but somehow empty, so I'd add some info to the main page.

This is far to empty, there is much space the can be utilized. With the search box it is a little off because the search box has a bit too much hight. The text seems to elevated off the page as to where it could be a little closer to the bottom of the box. I hope you understood what I meant. And I hope it helps.

If the ads on the homepage aren't doing too well you should remove them for sure. It would look a lot better with just the box thing.

I like the simplicity of it but I do agree, it is a little too plain. Separate the logo from the search and actually have it say search. That kind of confused me when I went on. Maybe move the nav above the search to so everything is not just 1 box. Also, make the search results a little more prominent, bigger titles or something.
