Suggestion on Design

Hi,

First of all I'd suggest you change the background colour because it's too similar to the colour used in the header, left navigation (Products), and border of the page. Maybe just lighten the background somewhat or try some different shades of gray.

Create some mouseover effects for both of your navigation menu's. Also the mouseover text colour on your text links is too similar to the normal colour (it changes from green to slightly darker green and is hardly noticable). Have more contrast in those colours.

You have way toooooo many links in the product list for this type of layout. There are certainly plenty of pages and plenty of content there which is really great, but it needs to be presented better, and more easily accessible.

Instead of having all those product links on the index page, just have links to the main categories - e.g. 'Wiring accessories', 'Brass fasteners and fixtures' etc. Then have a new page for each category and from THERE you need to link to each of the individual products.

Also remove the hit counter at the bottom of the page. No one likes to see these anymore on commercial websites. You can monitor your stats in much better ways.

Plenty more I could suggest but that should give you a few ideas for now.

ditto on the background color. i would recommend something lighter, maybe a diagonal pattern. the copy is aweful. remember that people read this stuff, not just SE bots.

Too many letters in the home.
Why don't you seperate more the home?
The background color, I'd change as well.

It looks a little cluttered to me. Good for SEO as there is loads of stuff on there, but not very user friendly. Less is more.

Well, other than the masive SPAM you have in place, it might be okay.....Get rid of the hidden text, and do away with all of the other nasty techniques that you have in place....They don't work, but they will get you banned from being indexed....Good luck.

yea hidden text is a nono...
nowdays a lot of seach engines dont index the page when hidden text is found.
you can still get away with image alt tags though.
