Default Climate change – whats happening in your country?

We keep hearing about climate change and the 'so called' Greenhouse effect but is it real? What is happening in your Country.

UK for example:

March 12th 2007
Very warm day in London, bright sunshine, windows down in the car, skimpy skirts are out and about On the coast people are even venturing into the sea for a swim!

March 19th 2007 (One week later)
Freezing cold with bitter winds and snow in London and all across the UK, heavy snow in places and more snow predicted in two days time.

Is this the patten for your Country? Tell us your story

you can't tell if the climate is changing by looking at it day to day. you have to have long periods of time to get new averages.

The conditions of my opening thread never happened years ago, surley thats looking over 'Long periods'

Would really like to hear from other countries before talking about how we do or do not decide how to judge climate change. That is not the intention of the thread.

We have a great opportunity to gather conditions and weather changes from all over the world here.

Lets see what other countries throw into the tread and then decide

Today and the past week has been perfect for me, but I'm in the USA, about 50 miles below the storm.

As I write this it is snowing very hard here in Lincolnshire. A week ago it was warm sunny and Spring-like. The plants and animals don't know if they're coming or going.

Spring starts 14 days earlier. Autumn starts 3 weeks later. The glaciers has been retracting for several kilometers into the mountains. Those glaciers which used to go down into the valleys often doesn't anymore.
That's for Norway.
