![]() | My PR prediction just climbed from 4 to 5! Hooray! But my actual is still 2 Anyone know if the infamous "update" has occured, or when it will? I hope it hasn't as my site rank for http://officialhouseofrock.com hasn't gone anywhere. And another question. Why when I use the PageRank Checker does it say my PR is 0 on all servers, but when i go to the pagerank prediction tool, it says my current rank is 2? What the heck is that supposed to mean?

| Member | pagerank checker lists your current PR on the various Google servers... The Pagerank prediction tool "predicts" your future PR. The number produced is only an estimate - there is no proven accuracy to such prediction tools. Only Google knows your true PR! ![]()

![]() | Hi, What they read is the internal PR of your website in Google also called the RK. The RK differs from datacenter to datacenter. So if all the datacenters read the same the guess is accurate. If not, it gives you an inaccurate answer. Once in a while Google exports the PR to the toolbars so your PR shows. While not, there is a PR aka RK, but it has as yet not been exported to the toolbars. You RK is live so it changes all the time as Google ranks you on a daily bases as back links get picked up and quality checked. If you have a RK of 4-5 then you should come out with a PR of at least 3. They become more stable i.e more accurate once the site is mature. |
