Exclamation Wow, i won USD$1,000,000.00!!

Sorry for the heat up title. Nope. I didn't won any $1,000,000.00. Due to everyday that i received spam mail like "Congratulation, you won a lottery.", "Grab your prize, which you have won."

Con : Hate it when always have to check again whether it is the real person which email the real mail which contain important notes, but not regarding winning money. Imagine that you can received about 100+ more of this kind of spam mail. If you use gmail, or other mail server which have filter out these mails. But what if, it has filter out the wrong mail, which is not spam. I did delete few from others which is not spam mail.

Pro : This is the main part of this thread. What if you really receive a cheque of USD$1,000,000.00. What if you really win a lottery at your own town which have that amount.

What will you do with the money? And how are you going to spend it? For me, i will put 50% in the bank to eat the interest. While the rest, i will try travel around the world, place a little on Web business, and some portion of it, i would really want to donate or do some charity.

What about you?

Regards,
David Cheong.

Hi David,

I'd probably do something similar to you. I'd put half in a high interest account and then just blow the other half on holidays, nice house, car and also give some to family members.

I would retire early, not throw it alll way on expensive items I wouldn't need.

But if it were a billion...

All in the bank. Spending it then and there is not a good idea, since you get no return on it. Wait around 10 years, and then use the money made. It sounds boring and pointless, but would be well, well worth your time.

I'll donate 70% of it to Children's Home. Use 20% of it to buy shares. May be 10 % of it to bet at Genting Highlands.

Why even open the email you know they are all cons. 'If it seems too good to be true it IS' that the rule of the net these days.

Hi there,

I was getting ready to delete this thread, it sounded real spammy. But then I read it. To tell you the truth, and don't think I sound greedy for saying this but $1,000,000 isn't a whole lot over in the UK. It is around £515,057.98. And the average person earns £30,000 per year. So for us we would have to invest very wisely, for example London is a very expensive place to live, and £500,000 isn't a whole lot to have because the econemy is richer.

So to answer the big question, if I had $1,000,000...what would I do?...

...I would buy a house in cash, so I can live rent free for the rest of my life. UK house prices boom every year, and eventually youngsters will be unable to buy a house without a loan.

Regards,
Kieran Taylor.

I was about to sweat when i read the first paragraph. Phew.. am i glad that it is not a spam, actually it is also some advice and some experience what if.. only.. Thanks Kieran for understanding. Eventhough it is not a big amount in UK, but if in Malaysia, it will be this amount RM3,500,000.00. I can really do alot of things with it.

David Cheong.
