In order to be able to increase your PR you must be able that sites with high PR aim at your Web. The only way to do it without spending money is with manual interchanges of links.

You must look for interchanges with sites of content and thematic similar yours.

The subject to increase the visits I see it more complicated, I still do not have it solved. I believe that a good idea at zero cost is begin to post in forums of your thematic one, always contributing with things and ideas.

Well my site is six months old, PR4, and 4000 visits/day; I´m working hard the subject of visits, so that without them you are dead …

i would buy the cheapest adwords categories that are related to your categories. Or whichever ppc you choose. i would then find other paid directories in aus, ones that charge at least as much as yours, and then go category by category and contact everyone who's already bought a link. you know that they are willing to spend some money on link ads. i would follow up the non responding folks with a phone call. you can get a skype number for $38 per year. then buy more ads. you should also do something about your page loading speed. it takes 68.34 seconds on a 56k dialup line.

Right, I will be sharing some secrets today regarding getting to the number 1 spot on google and yahoo. (MSN is another issue)

1). Select a keywords that you would like to be number one for.

(In my case I would like to be number one for the keyword: Linksmaster

2).Join a few Link exchange programs. I use Linkalizer, LinkMarket and of course Linksmaster (Linksmaster is autometed)

Now, each site will ask you for the "Title" also known as (the anchor text).

This should be the keyword selected in number 1).

3) A signature on your forum replies with your keyword to, and help people on forums to help yourself get ranked for your keyword.

----Dont stop untill you are the First result on google, then move on to the next keyword ----

The above is quite basic and is more to help out beginners!

1 last tip is try not to compete on the toughest keywords, although you will get to the number one position it will take a lot longer and I know that none of you are patient

!

I understand the value of having links pointing at your site, but is there a cost to having links pointing away? If you really work at link exchanges and your links page winds up with 50 or 100 or several hundred links pointing to other sites, does that work against your SEO?

I have good example ,my friends has a site which is first rank in google with keywords .............out from 180,000,000 he ask me why the traffic is very little and adsense earning also minimal ,after looking ,I have summarized that "you are a king in uncommon or rare or keyword that nearly nobody search for (sometime due to wrong multi word orders)" that's why no traffic .

After change to more common keyword and only 2-3 words,traffic come even SERPS not in the top 10,earning also up.

That is story about serps and keyword that convert to traffic.

Pagerank is different things ,come from Backlink generation coming from good and relevant sites which sometimes depend on your own luck and hard work.

I agree that forum posts are not the easiest way. It will take a lot.

The value of forum posts to pagerank is miniscule compared to other higher value backlinks. Yes, you may enjoy some recognition if you post in large numbers. However, short posts with little or no content for the search engines to index means your post is not a pagerank or backlink magnet.

Posts with key words in the text and valuable advice to help others succeed are much better than a quick comment like "Yes, I agree", but still low on the ladder of what search engines seek.

Forum membership is a great way to get free advice and immediate feedback on what's really going on in your niche. Short comments are appropriate while lengthier posts or replies have greater value. If you were gathering rocks instead of backlinks, long forum posts are still like a grain of sand. It all adds up, yet you might need a million to equal a decent rock, or backlink.
