The site is a bit plain, and a bit to texty. The navigation bar on the left doesn't have enough in it to be on the left side, you should place those links horizontally along the top of the page, and have your content span the entire width instead of having the left navigation.

Your category navigation "jumps" on mouseover. You should make each element in the menu big enough so that when the text changes from standard to bold/underlined, it won't cause the rest of the menu to grow.
