![]() | I wish the DMOZ directory and the editors were able to get sites listed faster.. I understand that the editors get more links then they can handle and I also understand that it is on a "volunteer" basis.. But still.. If there is that much demand for it then they should automate it and/or charge people to list their sites - similar to the Yahoo directory ($299 a year) .. Anyone else out there feeling my pain??

![]() | Yes it does take very long. The solution could be as simple as all people that want their sites added sign up and become editors themselves. Just think how quick things would move. Just fought for thought! |

![]() | Yeah I agree. You would think with so many editors it would be a lot faster. Too bad they do not offer a premium service where you can just pay to have your site listed a lot faster.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I can see your annoyed by their slow service but don't worry, about 10,000+ are annoyed aswell. You shouldn't worry too much about getting listed on dmoz however, their traffic is very low and Google has said they do not treat dmoz any special than another-junkie.com.

Kenni, thank you for informing me about that, it make me a little happier. I know I'm a little cynical. ![]()

![]() | Funny though...the Google directory is a mirror of DMOZ. They have been having issues for a long time though...don't hold your breath.

I've never seen it either, though this opinion has been very popular recently. Anyway, I still think that registering at DMOZ is useful. | |

Wow I did not know that, thank you. I submitted 3 sites last September all were a similar topic but submitted to different UK regions, 2 were approved within 24 hours but I am still waiting for one, now I know why.
