I never said first on the list, 1st page of searches...

Unfortunately, I have noticed that listings can drop very suddenly from Googles index. However, they can also pop back up quickly too.

White Hat strategies are SEO techniques that are considered acceptable by the search engines. Black Hat strategies are SEO techniques that are not.

Hiding text, keyword stuffing, splash pages, etc... are all Black hat techniques.
