Can i suggest a new section for this website?

Suggestion.

Is it possible to have a section where any post with rating of 5 stars to be in its own sections and not drop off the forum lists.

Maybe it could be called 5 star posts or something.

I enjoy this forum and just thought this would be very useful for myself and any other users.

I think it would definently boost the popularity of this site.

That's not a bad idea. I've never actually rated a thread before, never really understood the need too.

Hi there,

No offense, but it seems a little pointless to me and would just initiate spam. People would on purposely rate them 5 stars. Just my opinion, but I don't think it would work.

But what if they made it so that 5 or 10 users would have to rate it 5 stars to actually get 5 stars.

I just think that there is some really good content on here that should not disappear off the site.

Maybe then yes, but then again, it's whether top staff want to it...I will post a thread in the ADMIN/MOD section for you

You have some good creativity ev8321, but like mentioned before, this will probably trigger a lot of spam. Plus, when users need help, I'm sure they'll search first which should return some of them good threads you're referring to.

ev8321, we opened up a thread about your suggestion in the Admin area to discuss your idea. While we all thought it was a very creative idea, we all also agreed that it might attract the wrong type of posting, ie SPAM. So we have decided against making that change for now. It is a great idea, I'd like to hear any more ideas you have.
