![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I'm not no expert on XHTML nor CSS but i don't think the style should matter, as long as the Google/MSN/Yahoo bot can read whatever is shown.

![]() | Hi Hans, XHTML is not something that can be compared with tables, because tables can be used in XHTML and HTML, and with or without CSS. If you would like to ask your question in a more specific manner, I should be able to help you with a solution to what ever problem you may be facing ![]() MrLeN

![]() | I suppose you meant <div> and CSS rather than <table>. It is a common practice nowadays for xHTML validation...

![]() | Yea, like already mentioned XHTML cannot be compared with tables. You most likely meant <div> in comparison to <table>. While designing, XHTML CSS combination would be best. CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheet. Basically what CSS is used for is placement of objects (usually along with XHTML), styling of text, and pulling of cool little features such as rollovers. The use of DIV and CSS eliminates all those empty rows and columns people used to use for placement of objects on pages. Though CSS can help substantially cut loading times, I can't say that using it will help your rankings in any way. I'm pretty sure spiders don't analyze code for validation, or cleanliness.
