Well, I know it doesn't worth to much, but if I were you I would start the script installing from the beginning. It often works for me.

Can you attach the file with the php code? And, can you tell us where the script is described online? Thanks.

Hmmm... did you upload the srcipt to your server? Sounds like it is reading it from your hard drive, not from the server, do you use FTP?

And who are you hosting with, that may be a problem also... Free servers do not allow certain scripts like Yahoo / Geocites, even as being an upgraded member, you are still restricted to what you can use on your site.

I use geocities pro and cannot change my 404 page, which kinda sucks, but you get what you pay for.....

thnx slamriot

well, i tried the php script on a 14-day free trial, and it worked perfectly on my server [i pay a small monthly fee]

i have minimal computer skills but don't think that should stop anyone, right. the script is way overpriced, so i played around after the 14-day trial and worked out that if i simply changed the mailit.php script, it would function. well, it did - except that it won't attach files.

any mailit.php scripts out there i might try?

Well, to be honest, I have poured countless hours into making scripts, I personally think it sucks when people don't understand that and think that they are for some reason entitled to my hard work without benefitting me in some way. That being said, they probably have some sort of security device in place to prevent people from ripping their work. You will probably be able to find a free script somewhere that will accomplish what you are looking to do, the free scripts usually will require you to keep a link in the footer. I strongly urge you to keep the link in place, because it's a small price to pay for the efforts that the script creator put into the script.

hi jumpen etc

well, if you ever visit my site you will see i make a big point of giving credit to everyone whose work i use

tweaking with scripts is fun, especially when you are old like me and everything is way beyond your understanding

but this one was extremely overpriced so i just couldnt resist

i failed anyway... but no-one died... don't tell george bush that, tho... i don't want a visit... his scrapbook is thick enough

i checked out your site, and good luck. i will always pay 20 bucks for something that will enhance my site, as will millions of others. i am a pauper but i always donate to sites that i use. but there ARE limits...

however, be sure i respect the work you people do... it is way beyond me, i know my limitations just refuse to accept them. i would starve if i stepped into your world. equally, few people can survive in my environment, those who don't do their homework end up disillusioned or dead.

looking at your site, i would say your next step is marketing... is this a strength? there are huge opportunities out there... go grab em!

n sorry i... ummm... did a bad thing... i will now go and pay too much for that damn script
