![]() ![]() | From past performance Google seems to update about 90 to 100 days, so if true to form I would reckon sometime in April. But then again who really knows for sure.

![]() | Yes, I think middle of April is the date of the new PR update, but these days we had a algoritm update.I think it is more important than a PR update. :More info here

![]() | Google seems to be updating constantly. I noticed a BIG change in my listings on February 22nd. And, it was a big boost. That may have been from an algorithm or formula adjustment, though. Seems to me I've been reading very consistent predictions of the next big update happening after the first of April. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I also heard about the algorithm update, but it was only mentioned at some blogs. Do you have any resource about it?

![]() | Try seochat.com. I think that's where I read it. Also at Matt Cutt's blog. He's the head of the Google "anti-web-spam" team. He is the big boss of the folks who keep those danged useless web sites ranked reeeeeeeeel low! See his site at ... www.mattcutts.com/blog/ Lots of good stuff in there. He knows what he's talking about, that's for sure. Of course, he doesn't say everything he knows.

![]() | google seems to have been dancing since the new year started. |

| Member | It is not just only Big G have been dancing, which also at the same time, we all webmaster are dancing around when the Big G updated. Situation like some webmaster gets a PR1 for their new website, they jump up and down, asking "How come, how come.", but for some newbie webmaster, they would dance around, saying "Yea, yea ,yea, i am top of the PR, i got a PR1, yea yea." In another situation where webmaster's website gets a PR5 or PR6 or even higher, would say "Yes, yes , yes, this is unexpected, dancing around with wife and kids." You see not just only the Big G dance, we all dance at the same time. Good luck to all webmaster and member of IWT on the next upcoming unforeseen PR updates, and wish you all will get a high PR ADVICE : If you get a low PR, don't give up so soon, there is always chances. Try work harder, not just optimizing your website, do some link building, or even submitting your website to directories, if previously you submitted 10 to directories, submit more this time. Getting a low PR doesn't mean is the end of the world, it is just the beginning of your opportunity. Buying high pr links which can be found here : Links for sale or even exchanging links with others which also can be found at the same url. Shortcut Reference : IWT = iWebTool Big G = Big Google PR = PageRank Regards, David Cheong.

This is great advice, I think David knows what he is talking about... PR is not everything it is cracked up to be, my site is PR0 and ranked #4 on google for the keyword I want it to be (would like #1, but I am working on that). So PR is not something you really need to fret about, I have found that out the hard way... Check out the discussions I have had on this forum and you will see. I basically gave up worrying about PR and am concentrating on getting my sites ranked for the keywords I want them to get hits from. A good thing to do is increase your backlinks with highly related websites that have forums. (example is my warcraft site, I post messages on http://wow.allakhazam.com/ with my site in signature) This has boosted my site up in the search engines a bit. If you have a niche site, this is the best advice I can give, most forums will let you promote your site in signature line, and if they are related, then that will boost your search results even more!
