Past performance shows Google to update around every hunderd days. There does not seem to be any fixed time interval between updates so we can only take a guess. Based on past performance the update would be expected mid to late April. Only Google can indicate for sure, in the meantime we can only guess.

be patient PR is just an indication of how many backlinks you have based on the PAGERANK DISTRIBUTION GRAPH

I saw that table. The matter is to know how many links will Google count. Different tools show different amount of links. If Google establish PR using only links it sees, than result should be bad.

What's the chances he's waiting till we all get so frustrated and insist it hapenning tomorrow that he starts the update now.

This does raise another point though, do we rely too much on the PR update? There are a number of treads in the forum with anxious webamsters attempting to predict the update.

I cannot believe that some of you think the PR update is not important.

Sure the algorithm update is hugely important, but that would be meaningless without the PR update.

Google doesn't just sit around doing nothing for three months and then goes "let's update now" there are 4 main system functions that are continually evolving the whole time, one after the other, visible PR included.

So all these things are as important as each other it is just that the PR visibility gives the general public the main idea of what will/won't/could/should happen to their site.

I'm looking forward to the next visible PR update... and then to what follows that...

Hi there,

Be patient people, PageRank is PageRank as time is time. What is the point in wanting it to update now, the longer it takes the longer Google has to crawl the web and appreciate your backlinks.

OK PR is nice to have, but traffic is better, think like that, build more backlinks, and your Google PageRank will follow.

In the meantime, what are you all aiming for, I am aiming for a PR4 on NaxBase and a PR5 on KJCorporate.

I think the traffic from Google is the best thing. So, the higher PR the higher position the more traffic. I have PR0 now and 8% of visitors from Google. I am looking forward to Google update. I hope PR2(despite my site is new-2 months old) and I want to see how it will increase my traffic.
