Setting a challenge for myself

Last night when I checked, my Heroes Forum wasn't even in the top 500 results for the keyphrase "heroes forum" on Google. I decided to do an experiment and see how quick I can get it to a much better position. With my LOST forum, it only took a few days to get it to position 11 and 12 for "lost forum" and "lost forums" respectively. It took about 2 weeks to get to position 7 for both.

So as you may have noticed, I have a new site in my signature. So far the only thing I've done to promote the Heroes forum is place links in my signature bar at the various forums that I frequent. We'll see how quick it gets there. I am targeting "heroes forum" solely, nothing else, so hopefully within a few days I'll be pushing less than 100, and within a few weeks I'll be in at least the top 20, but my ultimate goal is for the number 1 spot.

Good luck! It's always good to remember you change the perspective and the keywords for you to promote your forum.

I'm in place 15 for "Heroes Forum" on my Heroes Forum as of today.

96 hours ago, I couldn't even find my site for that search term in Google. I am interested to see how close to number 1 I can get.

I think in 3 days your site will sit on the top. I hope so. Tomorrow will be the first episod shown in Hungary. I hardly wait it, because I am very curious and heard very good opinions.

quick question, why the links in my sig dont show up? is it based in the number of posts?
