Your are right! they have put the sponsores links on the top.

But If you don't want your visitors to go these pages, but still wants search engines to crawl it, here is a best method.

Many website has a copyright note. Why Don't you chosee the word "copy" and give a link to indexguy php script. Nobody will click on a copy right link.

Still your pages will be crawled by search engine.

Indexguy.com is good for link exchange. So far I have 1342 back links from their directory and my website has a well ranking.

htt://www.gotlinks.com is now a Paid service. They have now more than 6500 members. I was lucky to be a free member before they started doing paid service. One good thing about gotlinks.com is they will only accept links which are indexed in google search engine. This way you can make sure that you are note linked to a google banned site.
