Default Can't view a web site - sigh!

Hi Folks, anyone have advice as to why I suddenly cannot view another web site that I have accessed for years . ( The web site is up and running fine ). I can ping the site no hassles but it will load up appear in my browser . I have checked that it is not the firewall as I turned it off and the same thing !
