![]() | I always wonder how far web technology and use has taken over our lives.I dont see any further room of improvement, but at the same time i know nothing can be perfect, better versions will always be coming through time. What do you see the future of the web then? Will any other and better technology will take over or what ? give your reviews regards Joey

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | As internet connection speeds continue to increase, the need for faster processors will begin to decrease. Our desktop applications will become web applications. Home computers will be dumb terminals without a disk drive. All of our computing will be done on public servers, all of our files will be stored in public servers(well, maybe not public). Software will no longer be owned, it will be leased, and you will only have access to it via the internet. We will be blind to system crashes, as those will happen on internet servers, and those servers will be switched instantly in the case of failure. That's the near future......The distant future? There will be an implant that can be placed on the surface of the human cornea which will serve 2 purposes. One, it will allow us to view anything we need to in perfect clarity. Two, it will allow us to interact via eye movement signals with the information that we are seeking. Artificial intelligence will make form filling nearly obsolete. Search will happen based on ques taken from your physiology paired with advanced technologies that I can't tell you about, they're top secret... ![]() |

Ha Vista ,it sounds like a Pizza, very colourfull, lots of variaty, hard to get your mouth around it,makes a mess when you bite into it. AMD is the worlds future in Modern Technology .

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | It wasnt that long ago people were saying the web wouldnt work. I was 2o years ago Bill Gates predicted the mobile phone of today. Who knows. will it be 3d Internet? the speed at the moment is almost instant, how can you improve on that? I wonder how long it will be before the watch on your wrist becomes the ultimate internet tool We have progressed very fast, do we need to slow down for a while and catch up? |

![]() | I think you can never really say any thing about it, because the way web has improved over the years you can never say what might come in this feild. May be web gets all old with the introduction of some thing which can not b figured at this stage. U can never say until future arrives..I just hope to be there see it .

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Well, to put things into perspective, we must first look back before we look forward. In 1987, I had a Commodore Plus4....I wanted to have internet connectivity, although it wasn't known as the internet to me then.... I had the choice of 3 modems, a 150 baud, 300 baud, or 1200 baud. I went with the 300 baud. So that you understand exactly how slow 300 baud is......If I was to try to load a page that was 100K in size today, it would take less than 1 second with my internet connection, back then it would have taken a minimum of 5 minutes. In 20 years, speed has increased by more than 300 times, so to say that we might be closing our eyes to access the internet in 20 years from now might not really be as big of a stretch as you may think. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hi there, It would be horrible to access the Internet with your eyes, it would be so annoying. I would rather access the Internet on a PDA if I wanted to do it on the move. Speed will increase definitely, and I think Google will offer free Wifi Internet to every city in every country around the world. Regards, Kieran Taylor. |

![]() | Well buddy u just give google a great idea for free wifi around the globe. Wish that come true..But just a thought wifi is already old and its latest version has arrived to the market known as Wi Max. It rangs to 30 Km radius. So google will have to come up with some thing new to get the whole globe connected.
