i was trying to get on your site all day today and most of yesturday and it was down i had one of mine done like that and what it was it was the hosting providers server that was hacked and all my sites went down lucky i got all my sites back i asked them for a backup as they do them regular and i had not done any backups.

most sites that get hacked are simple to fix most just change your php and html files if you upload your index.php and html files for that site it may fix it i have looked at your site and it looks like a c panel hack you may need to speak to your website provider to fix the problem.

I have had that happen to me before. Some of my friends are hackers and I have asked to track the guy and do something. I can tell you that payback was sweet.

And couple of days ago there was a site http://www.warcry.com/ That attached it self to my homepage with a full page advertisement claiming to be my sponsor's. I figure that they were the ones responsible for my downtime.
If You'd like I can see what my friends can found. I just need the guys IP

payback may be sweet but i dont agree with hackers why dont these people just get on with there own lifes and leave everyone else alone. The way i look at it is these people who go round hacking they need to grow up... and get a job most likely there out of work!

I don't know, it looks as though these hackers hit the entire server, a site that I have on the same server as midlandi is completely gone. It sucks, but I guess I need to get over it.

Yep - files were corrupted with an <iframe>. I reported it to our federal government. You might want to do the same for the bean counters.

Sorry to here about this guys, it happens...unfortunately the Internet is very dangerous for things like this. Little geeks who have nothing else to do but sit and stink while they hack for fun. I really hope they see how stupid they look when they are older.


All you can really do is ask for the logs from your hosting provider and send them to your local ISP to see if they can trace the hackers. If your website earns money, you can claim back up to 300% of cash losses, for the average time your website is down. Unfortunately people like this make the term hacking sound like a bad thing, when in fact it was initially used for purpose of good. All they have done is simply switched it around.

My bet is that they are small time script kiddies who have no great knowledge on how to hack, they have simply found a little gateway to your server...I recon so anyway .


Damn, so they did hit pretty hard. Hope you can get them up again, do you keep backups? I really do hope you get this resolved soon...and hopefully if the hackers are stupid enough, you can catch them.

Hi there,

I have just had a look at your website and I suggest you take it down until you have fully sorted it. The hackers details are on there and all he will do is simply wait for people to add him or e-mail him and then he will prey on them.

Some of them actually do this for a living. They get really big money for spying on sites or to take sites down.
The reason that the real hackers rarely get caught is because major companies need them. Some hire hackers to do the work mentioned above. Major security software makers also need them for survival.
The hackers that do get caught are the ones that are really stupid or the "script kids".

True, but not hackers like this who hack to get their e-mail address put on a website. some hackers work for government agencies, and use their knowledge to prevent hackers getting in. Top hackers get paid by the government to hack government websites, to see if they can find breaches and holes within the security infrastructures.

Would be a good job, but if you told a woman that you did hacking for a living, she would probably walk away without giving you the chance to explain .
