? about PR predictor

Hi!

Upon using the diff R predictors (rustybrick, iwebtool, etc), I get completely different results. Is there one known to be more accurate?

Oh...for those of you that have been using iwebtools to predict you pr in the past, has it come true..been too low or too high? can we do a "poll"?

If you look around different sites such as user's blogs, you may find that the iwebtool's prediction has been accurate for most people. There are ofcourse the odd-cases where you'll get the opposite of what the predictor said but we'll have to wait and see

iwebtool's prediction has always been right. It was right in the last update too.

It says that one of my sites is going to go from PR4 to PR6, another from PR4 to PR5 and yet another, my newest, from PR0 to PR4....is this too much to hope for...? And by the way...when will this update take place, anyone know?

Hello Parisma Here,

I would like to know basically the same. We have a PR of 4 but what does it mean? Does it mean we will be in the top 100,000, 10,000, 1,000. and how does it affect your traffic. We are new to this, so excuse the ignorance. If you get the answer will you let us know.

To be honest, it haasn't always been accurate.... said predicted PR3 and it was PR2.

Otherwise, only kenni can answer your technical questions; he built it.

LivePR is quite good.
I never get too strange results from it. Looks like guys have a good algo for predicting.

Are we talking PR = Prediction Rate ?

There is one thing I am very sure ::

If you stop then the prediction will never become real.:cool: :cool:

Yes, I would. It's all about backlinks.

If you have 1000 backlinks and their average PR is 5+ - any of predictors will show high PR values.

It has not been accurate for us. Predicted a PR7 and we remained at a PR4.

i was predicted 5 and got a 4 (new domain)
and another predicted 5 and got a 4
and also a predicted 4 and got a 2

so its kind of accurate

The Live and ToolBar PR appears to be 2 down in most cases when I looked at the old PR predictor, but only for newer websites as in under PR 5. The odler PR5 plus is appeared to guess very accurate.
