Google Toolbar Update

Hi Folks

According to http://www.seocompany.ca/pagerank/pa...date-list.html
the toolbar update is tomorrow. Will it happen, won't it? We'll all no more when we're 24 hours older!

It will be interesting to see how accurate the IWeb predictor tool is and maybe we can do some comparisons here.

The predicted update for our sites english language start side:

is 5.

I'll let you know how close IWeb was when I'm older;-)

It says Google update should take place on 25th Jan.. doesn't seem very accurate, perhaps Google is messing with us?

Another installment of the toolbar situation, i'm still getting snow blind looking at it:-(
To add to my quandry I've just been to rustybrick.com to confirm the prediction IWeb has given and it came back with a future PR of 0. I'm an optimist though, so I'm going along with IWeb.

See ya tomorrow for another thrilling episode.

Rustybrick is not accurate at all, iwebtool seems to be right on the money for me. Im guessing it will happen before Feb 5th.

I've ignored this thread for a while but thought it was time to give you all another snippet.
Well, if you visit my site (signature) you'll see that the ol' toolbar is still as white as it gets. I'm beginning to wonder if Google have decided to bin the idea of toolbar PR updates. According to one of the other SEO sites I frequent, the longest period to date without a toolbar PR update was 111 days (Jan. 1 - Apr. 22, 2005), looks like that is now the second longest in view of the fact that this is the 111th day since the last update...

Most of us are aware of the fact that the toolbar doesn't really play any role where rankings are concerned, I wish it was the same when it came to getting backlinks as the standard reply is often: "Not interested coz you have 0 PR".

A quick question to anyone reading; how much weight do you put on the toolbar PR when a "PR0" site asks for a reciprocal link exchange?

i see that and get that response alot... it really pisses me off.... people lose sight of the real goals "to get more traffic to there site" i have many pr0 sites which get a very good amont of traffic

when i exchange links i go for relivince(sorry cant spell) even if the site has no traffic i will still consider an exchange since a site with pr0 now and no traffic tomorrow could be a pr7 with 50,000 uniqes per day...
i started off exchanging with PR sites.. but it means nothing anymore
