Is traffict really helps to attaint PR?

I have created a blog 3 months ago, I didn't do any SEO thing on it, even the easies way to do in link building, in fact that blog has an average visits of 4 a day. I checked it last week and it has a page rank of 2

That is quite interesting. Just think without doing SEO you have pr2, and if you will do the SEO then waht will happen. You will get pr of 5/6 easily.

Pr and traffic are absolutely different things, you may have Pr 0 and big traffic and earn on placing ads.

I agree with swazi. Those PR and traffic are, for the most part, mutually exclusive.

PR and Traffic is different. Page Rank for inbound links and traffic is for sales and sign ups

I think the traffic can influance PR in an idirect way. I mean more the visitors you have more chance you have to get backlinks due to the valuable content. As I know this phenomena is called link baiting.

maybe it can affect. what iam trying to say is that, PR and Traffic are different terms, but i must say that it can influence and somehow help to gain more traffic.

do a linkdomain search at google. and u will see who links to you.
sure there is some links coming in. and those are giving you PR juice.

Backlinks=PR
PR from backlinks = higher seo ranks
higher seo ranks = more traffic.

Both are equally important. If you have big traffic without good pr imagine what you could have with high pr..
