It offered internet connection direct to my wireless connection! Brilliant!!! 10 days later.......yehaa! finally got it working. 1 day later......what a waste of time.... ![]() I have a laptop and two pc's...why on earth do i want a phone to acces the net? Yeah would be great to catch a wirless network 'on the move' but i dont think i could stay in one place for 10 days just to set the bloody thing up ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | You live and learn I guess. It's the way the world will be one day. We will all access the internet from small devices that display their information via an eye or a brain implant. Yeah, it sounds like science fiction, but so did the internet and cell phones 40 years ago. How's the connection speed on your phone? Oh, and how do all of my sites look, are they okay? ![]() |

![]() | Midlandi, In future when you buy new hi tech stuff, give it to your daughter, she will set it up for you even without the manuals, the younger generation seem to come with built in hi tech programming tools ![]() |

![]() ![]() | Is there any chance that one day we may again want to use a phone as a plain old ordinary phone instead of internet device, organisor, address book, games machine ... ?

![]() | I so don't see the point of having so many darn options and features on a phone... Why would I want to watch a vid I downloaded from the net in such a tiny screen? It makes no sense to me and I believe it to be very annoying... Some tv shows in quebec are no longer offering episode previews on tv, they are offering it though cellphones, annoying. |

![]() | I got me the Sidekick II a while back. Though once I got it I didn't really find any need for the internet on it. Except for a few times. But here in Baton Rouge the hookup on it sucked & it was horribly slow. Now when I was in Houston, TX the speed was great. But really no need for it, I'd rather use a laptop & it seems like everywheres has free WiFi nowadays. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hi there, I think it was Orange who made a budget phone, for people who don't want to buy a £500 phone with features they will never use. It looked normal, it had a black and white screen, it sent text messages, made and received calls, and had the ability to save contact details. It was only about £30 as well. Regards, Kieran Taylor. |

I cannot see the point of squinting into a tiny screen when you could be at home looking in comfort at a 17'' monitor. Maybe I'm getting old. | |
