![]() | I have a question for you SEO Gurus. What is your current visitor ratio with your current PR status. Example: PR Ranking: 1 Visitors Per/Day: 30 I would like to know at your current PR Ranking how many visitors you are getting a day. I would like to challenge the fact, that the higher the PR ranking the more the traffic. |

![]() | I just started my site a few weeks ago, and don't have any solid data so far, but PR and traffic are nor interrelated things, you may get organic (links from related sites, directory submission, forum signatures and so on) traffic or non-organic, or your traffic may be type-in if you use offline ads, but your PR depends purely on links. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | No, there is no relationship between the traffic a site receives and a PR value. Traffic can come from many places, including other search engines and inbound links, as well as direct links. The PR of a site is old information too, it's difficult to say based on todays traffic because the PR is from 2 or 3 weeks ago, at minimum. Even if you were to gauge only the traffic received from Google, and you were somehow able to know your current PR, it's still impossible to base a relationship off of those 2 factors alone. Many other factors come into play, most namely is what search word or phrase was used to find your site, how competitive the word is, and how many people search for it in any given day. Other factors include the traffic of the sites that link to you, your links placement(visibility) on other sites, your anchor text in your inbound links, the context of your link, and how relevant it is to the site that hosts your link. If a person is on a site that has information on throwing baby showers, and you have a link on that site to your site, which is about fast cars, you are likely not going to get much, if any, traffic from that site. |

![]() | I had 35-45 visitors a day with PR1. Finally I got a PR4 and google removed my sites web pages from the top of the SERPS almost at the same time. Thanks for that google! Now I have 99% non google visits. I still have 35-45 visitors a day. Instead Yahoo has started sending me more visitors. So everything is not lost.

![]() | PageRank doesn't seem to have a strong relationship with higher traffic in my experience. If your site ranks top 3-5 for some targeted keywords, you can get visitors even though your PageRank is low.
