Default Google recognising backward links
I have a recently launched site at http://www.classic-cars-auctions.co.uk

The site has been live for over a month and has a Google PR of 2.

Why is Google not showing my backward links of which there are over 1,000 showing up on on other search engines ?

Also what should I be concentrating on now to increase my page rank ?

Google doesn't show all of the backlinks they know about. They just give you a small percentage of them. In some cases, they don't show any backlinks at all, but they do recognize them.

How can you tell the accurate amount of back links to your site? Is cpanel accurate?

cPanel only tells you how many people followed the links to arrive at your site. The most accurate, or so I've heard, is Yahoo. If you do a link: search using Yahoo that should give you a pretty good idea of how many in bound links you have.
