I think the main page has a very clear layout. Telling the truth I think, that the style of the search form doesn't fit to the other parts of the site (my opinion, don't take it seriously).

I would change the font-color to a modern one, but I don't know which would fit the best

I think a hover effect on the images would lift the site, and I think You may change the favicon to your actual avatar on IWT, which is really cool.

As You wrote there will be tons of adoreable features, so I am sure that I will be a regular visitor.

do you have it in psd file ? if so can you e mail it to me see what i can come up with but i dont have that font so if you have psd it would be good

Thanks for the offer Sharon. I don't have the .psd file, I use psp unfortunately. But, you can find that font at dafont, it's called abbadon...Here's the link to the font: http://www.dafont.com/search.php?q=abbadon

Believe it or not, that is capitals....

It's one of those fonts that look the same no matter what face you use.

I raised the y up, you were right, it doesn't look very nice.

if your set on the mirror type effect maybe look into a font change

I would center it more with the search bar.

For the background maybe the black plastic look ( a rounded rectangle just under search bar.) put a white boarder around buttons and make text white. Similar to the search bar look.
