 | Re: Best Web Stats I would recommend sitemeter because it emails you or I would go with awstates if you have cpanel installed on your server. Depends on your goals you want to accomplish with your counter or the things you want your counter you want to do.

| Re: Best Web Stats I use statcounter AND google analytics. I look at my statcounter results several times a day - it's fast and gives a bit more superficial but still effective information than GA. I look at my google analytics results around once a week - it takes forever to load, but the information is awesome. SO I use both of them, but for slightly different purposes, and I really like them both.

| Re: Best Web Stats i think awstate is screwed up. When i use sitemeter it shows that i got 700 people but i use awstate and it saids i get 3000 hits

| Re: Best Web Stats 700 people is unique, different individual computers. 3000 hits just means requests to your website; could be bots, servers, people, but not all are different.
