Default Using Already Listed Articles.

There are many usefull articles in the internet.
Is there any laws against using one of those articles in ones own website or blog, provided the writers deatils are listed clearly saying something like "take from an article by joe blogs etc etc"?

Hi there,

Yes there is a law against it, it is called 'copyright'. You are allowed to take extracts, and then make a bibliography of what your sources were. Also all extracted data has to be quoted like "this".

If you want to take all of the article, then you have to ask them for permission, offer them a their link and name next to the article and they are usually happy to give you it as long as they receive credit for it.

Regards,
Kieran Taylor.
