RogePost (rogepost.com) is a file hosting service started in October 2005.

Initially known as "Filegone" (filegone.com), the name was changed to "RogePost" (rogepost.com) during the Summer of 2006. No other changes have been made.

All Internet requests for the "filegone.com" domain are redirected to "rogepost.com" by means of an .htaccess (HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently). The "filegone.com" domain is included in the sale with "rogepost.com".

The service is provided completely free of charge with a simplistic interface design and concept. There have been no other developments (derived or not) since the initial launch of the service in October 2005. Consequently, the service is now underdeveloped (and even under-exploited), however the quality of the service has attracted a large number of users as seen by the following statistics.
