Adsense newbie here... HELP

800~1500 uniques a day , 1800 uniques on weekends...

If i put a nice adsense somewhere nice in the site...

How much is it gonna earn.? and how ?

is it gonna earn when users click on it ? or they dont have to?

some more details if possible...

What you earn very much depends on the contents of you site and how your adsense is placed.

most of the ads are cpc so visitors should click the ads for you to earn but sometimes cpm ads are published too.

Also depends on your audience. If it is a younger crowd, 13 - 20 you won't make a dime off adsense. They never click them. If you are dealing with 30 - 50 year olds, the potential is MUCH higher. Learn that lesson well. We did.

I can only envy your numbers of unique visitors per day. That kind of traffic can easily make at least $300 per month.

It will in certain instances. What criteria is used to determine if a dynamic page is indexable is debatable. Most have found that clean, high ranking (High page rank) sites can get dynamic content indexed.
Problems:
Sites that use session tracking urls to give each visitor a dynamic url. These sites can generate an infinite amount of pages for a spider to visit. These types of pages, are usually blocked from being indexed by Google.

If a sites dynamic urls change between spidering. If possible, treat your dynamic urls as though they were static and never changing.

The best placement for Google ads varies from page to page, depending on content. Here are a few questions to ask yourself when considering where to position your ads:
• What is the user trying to accomplish by visiting my site?
• What do they do when viewing a particular page?
• Where is their attention likely to be focused?
• How can I integrate ads into this area without getting in the users' way?
• How can I keep the page looking clean, uncluttered and inviting?

Certain locations tend to be more successful than others. This "heat map" illustrates these ideal placements on a sample page layout. The colors fade from dark orange (strongest performance) to light yellow (weakest performance). All other things being equal, ad placements above the fold tend to perform better than those below the fold. Ads placed near rich content and navigational aids usually do well because users are focused on those areas of a page.
While this heat map is useful as a positioning guideline, we strongly recommend putting your users first when deciding on ad placement. Think about their behavior on different pages, and what will be most useful and visible to them. You'll find that the most optimal ad position isn't always what you expect on certain pages.

All about placement & your website on whether they'll get clicked or not. Other than that some ads give you more than other. For instance on my Organic & Earth Friendly Blog my ads usually pay .30-.80 cents per click. However on my arcade site the ads only pay about .03-.25

lets make a minimum assumption. 800 unique... 5% of them make clicks.
=40clicks. assume each click earning 0.50 . thus you getting $20

Really it varies a lot with niches and geoigraphic location of users. Why dont you just place the ads and see?
