Google results: 100% Automatic or human hand?

Do you think that Google results 100% automatic, or it is a little bit human hand plays role.

It is all automated, no human intervention unless someone reports a site for T.O.S. violations. That is why they have an algorithm, It is all math.

i dont think so is automated....google sometimes can love sites much more then others...also uni sites,and wiki are always up 5.

Mainly automated but with overrides for things that someone at Google spots/reported that are not really appropriate.

The search results display is 100.000000 % automatic.

However, they have a team of people who do nothing but look at sites that their system has found to be possible 'spam' sites... meanless displays of garbage or endless duplicated content sites, etc. The head engineer of that team is a fellow named Matt Cutts. He has a blog where he discusses some of these issues and web marketing, and so on...

You guys should go there and read it from time to time. Good, informative stuff.

Google has a real, physical 'in person' team that looks at your sites -- if they find out that it might be a 'bad boy' type site. So, be careful to obey Google terms of servce TOS... they're watching!

If you refer to pages getting indexed, then "Googlebots" are what crawl your site, no humans.

Actually, they have a huge factory where uumpa-lumpas sing odd tunes while adding sites to the database. Not only do they do that, but they make delicious chocolate.
