Nice Bagi...much better as the common "white" you used before
In general I also prefer "darker" backgrounds...

I'm still working on mine and finally decided to go for PHPLD as engine. Hope to show you in the comming days... (if my boss decide to let me have some free time :sad: )

I like the look too, it's much better than plain white. It is a bit dark for my taste as well, but I don't think that will deter anyone from using it.

I like the look, although my usual preference is for lighter colors, also.

The text on each page would look better with some padding (space) on the left edge instead of butted up against the border. I viewed the CSS for the #content div and found this:

padding : 22px 22px 22px 0;

The first 3 values are the padding for top, right, and bottom in that order in the #content div within the CSS, all being 22px, and for some reason the left value is zero. You could try adjusting the zero to 10px, 15px, or even 22px to "push" the text away from the edge. I didn't study this in great detail as to how it may affect other pages, however if you can try the edit on your local files without uploading, it might just work.

If you are comfortable with CSS, no problem. Otherwise like any edits on a site, backup the originals before doing any edits.

Hint: The easiest way to remember the sets of 4 values in CSS for margin or padding and what they control is look at them as "clockwise" with the first being "12" on a clockface, and then 3, 6, 9 or top, right, bottom, left.

First of all I want to say thank you for the time and for the valuable reviews. I am really greatfull.

Dear jdegerstrom, thanks for the suggestion I put 22px for the padding-left attribute. You were right, it looks much better. 22 is a masternumber, and it is one of my favs. I use it regularly in css, beside the number: 11. Thank you for the hint, but I already use this method

Now the dir is very fresh, hardly 3 weeks old, so I still have to work a lot to promote it, but this work is a long term investment for me. I targetted some 2 words keyphrases such as: seo links, seo directory. They are very competetive KWs, but hopefully the will bring valuable visitors.
