I think your forum looks great and i can see its quite active so you're doing good.
I dont know about the "Google Search" on the Top though and you need to work on your "Meta Names" for the SE, it can only do better :-)

Bring Traffic has already lighted up on the importance of meta tags. I think instead of stuffing the html comments with keyphrases, you should rather edit the php codes. If i were you i would place the forum names into h1 and the topic names into h2 tags. Otherwise the design looks really great. I am not an adsense professional at all, but i would change the border-colour of the ads to something else. I think it surely won't bring you more income but the design will turn more well-balanced. It is my personal opinion, so please do not take it seriously.
