Default affiliate marketing

Why do most directories and alot of forums reject websites with affiliate marketing content. My website http://www.eshoptheworld.net is rejected by numerous forums as spam. I have over 800 affiliate stores attached to the site, but my traffic is very low.

Well, don't be offended but : Your website doesn't have affiliate links in it...it is only 1 big affiliate linkfarm.
When I look at it I see :

1) a not very attractive layout
2) no original content or added value
3) only links and banners...

Your site is screaming : look at me, choose something (whatever) and click and buy. Sorry, but if I want to buy something I rather go to a site that is specialized in the item I'm looking for and then maybe click on an "Buy me now" link...maybe.

I think you should make different sites each discussing 1 topic. On each site you can add affiliate links as an added value to the original content of that site.

Just my opinion of course and I didn't want to sound rude. But honestly...when you look at your own site...do you have a feeling of "trust" ?

I agree with Bisje. The reason may not be obvious, but providing unique and original content that benefits your visitors is key to your credibility.

A single page of affiliate links is no more than a portal to other sites without giving people a reason to stay on your site.

If you separate your affiliate links into more pages with related consumer advice articles or helpful community service information that go beyond just selling, you may get past the rules against 100% affiliate sites. Good luck.

Cheers,

Jim
