![]() ![]() | Ok, I have created a subdomain tv.mydomain.com and I want to be able to use ftp access to just the tv part, so I setup a ftp account with the username: (something) and password: (something) Now to login my ftp I need, host: username: password: now whats teh correct format ftp.tv.domain.com or just tv.domain.com? I dunno, I need help

![]() | Login into your orignal ftp which is ftp.domain.com, and go to public_html and you should create a folder which is your subdomain name, that will contain your subdomain content.

If you want you sub users to have independent ftp access, you can only arrange this in conjunction with your hosting company. The type of control panel software you hosting company uses will determine if this is possible or not. You need to speak to the hosting company to ask if they can enable the facility for you. | |
