Keywords in MSN

Hi there,

I am happy to see in my AwStats that I am recieving plenty of click throughs from search engines with the keywords and keyphrase "corporate" "web" "development" - "corporate web development". So I went out to see which search engine these are mainly coming from and it was Live (MSN Search).

I am over the moon as corporate business is the audience I am mainly looking for, hopefully this new year brings me luck.

Your on the first page as well, i think that you should be getting some good visitors in the new year

That's not bad. How much traffic are you receiving from this? and did you have any goals to get this position or did it just happen?

I ain't getting huge traffic in total, but I have noticed over the following months that I was getting a chunk (majority) from the keyphrase "corporate web development". I was hoping for this position but for the keyphrase "professional web development", but I guess my domain keyword stick out a bit, but I chose my domain like that on purpose .. so I guess the answer to your question is yes.

My goals where mainly to target certain keywords, and they aren't weak ones, they are strong keywords with plenty of competition, but with your SEO Checklist kenni you can't go wrong.

Bit of both I suppose as I was targeting it, but a shock that I got it so quick.

I don't know if I am missing something but I never bother with MSN and Yahoo, I am sure the can bring good traffic, I just focuse on google, most of the time if you crack it in google, MSN and Yahoo falls into place.

Hi there,

That is bad practice. Just because other search engines are smaller than Google, you shouldn't abandon working your keywords within those ones as well. Remember that some people prefer MSN and Yahoo! to Google, and the traffic through those search engines are very valuable too.
