 |  Backlinks Question Google 360 MSN 8,793 Yahoo 23,776 Total Backlinks 32,929 I don't understand what these iwebtool stats mean and appreciate if someone can explain. What does it mean I have 360 backlinks on Google? Are these on Google hosted sites or what? Same question with MSN and Yahoo. Thanks for help.

| Re: Backlinks Question They are backlinks of all the websites linking to you, and as stOx said yahoo is the most accurate, so mainly look at yahoo

 | Re: Backlinks Question Hi there, No they are not hosted on Google's sites or servers, they are overall backlinks throughout the web in which those SE's have crawled. Some are internal some are external. The external ones are the ones you should look at getting more of. But you do have a decent amount of backlinks ... well done! Regards, Kieran Taylor. |

| Re: Backlinks Question Thanks stOx, mani and Kieran. So these numbers tell me the number of sites that link to my site and yahoo is the most accurate. The numbers keep changing and now the total is showing 33,296. It all seems to be happening without me doing anything so I don't know if I can take much of the credit and to be honest, I'm not sure if I appreciate what it means anyway Thanks heaps for all your replies and hoope you all have a great New Year.

| Re: Backlinks Question If you are gaining backlinks without any effort on your part, that just means that people like the site that you have put together. It's a good thing whenever your link building strategies don't have anything to do with you. |
