Re: Selling my domains I doubt any of the domains listed have any value. The most useful http://www.internationalnewsheadlines.com is probably worth a couple of hundred dollars. When I put "International News Headlines" into a google search in speech marks I get 69,800 unique page impressions. That's incredibly low. I put "International New Headlines" into Word Tracker and it said nobody had searched for the string on Dogpile and Metacrawler in the last 90 days. Why would anybody put that string into a search? People read news on the Internet every day. They are going to know which news site they want to go to. Even if they had just landed from Mars they would search by the news article contents not a long winded 26 letter 3 words generic phrase. All the other domains in the list are just crud of the kind that could have been registered yesterday. To make any money from domain registrations you had to be doing it 10 years ago. Either that or you need to buy quality domains on the secondary market or directly from owners and know what you are doing. If you have to register .cc domains in the hope of making money you might as well get another hobby. Save up and buy a decent .com for a couple of thousand dollars from Buy Domains. As far as automatically generated fantasy valuations are concerned, I think if Sedo and other companies who come up with stuff like this were obliged to pay 50% of the valuation if the person paying for the valuation elected to sell the valued domain back to them, the valuations provided would fall by 95%. Either that or Sedo would go bust within a couple of days. |
