 |  +/-ve backlinks Hi, what are your views on what makes good and bad backlinks? I'm assuming that the old media phrase 'any publicity is good publicity' does not work with the SE's ? |

| Re: +/-ve backlinks as far as I'm concerned, I've lots of bad backlinks: I've put links on PR3 and PR2 pages of my site but other people have put my backlink on PR0 pages or even on non-indexed pages.... The result is that they increased their PR and didn't help me at all, so that's what I call badlinks: when they are not really reciprocal. |

| Re: +/-ve backlinks All backlinks that get spidered are good it's just some are better then others, the better ones are the pages that link to you with high PR and few outbounds.
