What is your monthly budget for dedicated server?
Please share your experience with your dedi hoster.

My budget is $100-200 per month. I think it's quite normal.

I pay about $140 a month for a dedi with unmetered bandwidth on a 100MB port. Thats unmanaged though, my management company charges $30 for unlimited admin time for the first server. So about $170 a month for one box. I plan on adding another server soon as I run a file sharing site and its picking up pretty fast.

Or is it a VPS?

I find that people just want to save money and will cut corners when buying servers and hosting just to save a few pence. I find the best server deals are about £120 GBP a month.

Thanks for your replies and votes. It seems that your budget depends on your needs.
But I'm not sure that you will be able to get good dedicated server for less than $50 per month.
