![]() | Hello there, I'm using iWEBTOOL a lot, mostly www.pagerank.sc I use firefox and have installed some extention to check PR. The only problem is I usually want to know alexa and predicted PR of the site, so I always go to pagerank.sc to check it. The idea is simple, if you make a firefox extention that shows predicted PR and may be also alexa, it will be very popular. I'm sure almost all the webmasters would like to instal it. Michael |

Just a wonder, if you create an firefox extension, this means the firefox user wouldn't need to visit pagerank.sc as it will be already shown on the browser, right? If that is the case, this wouldn't really increase traffic but increase server-load ![]()

Not exactly. In fact it's the opposite, there're multiple benefits in having a highly popular extention. It will in fact increase the traffic, as any free tool does. Also it will help iWEBTOOL establish a respectful reputation in the webmaster community. And there's a certain PR benefit, the site will receive lots of links from high PR pages, as a free tool .. Also, what's good for yor clients/visitors is always good for you too if you're aiming at a long term business. | |

| iWEBTOOL Staff | Well acutally instead of showing the actual predicted PR and alexa ranking, just make a link iWebTool in the toolbar which automatically just links to the site you are visiting. I am sure I could make a plugin to do so in the future. |

![]() | Hmm interesting idea. A popular firefox tool that gets play will definately help increase traffic. Especially if you make it so people have to visit the site to get the latest updates. That being said, I am not sure there is a market for another toolbar unless it offers something unique or special. |
