I have some specific questions:

- up to 4 days ago my site was 4th in Google results (search: guerre stellari), not it is disappeared, not banned, not excluded, simply vanished, or buried somewhere; any help about this?

- i have put a simple star wars ascii art in the title tag: |-o-|
is this Google-friendly?

- what about AdSense ads placement/colors/etc

any other suggestion/comment really appreciated

The site is looking really good, and i find the layout and the information good, but i do not know how it has disappeared from google search i think you might need to start purchasing links or trading to raise your seo again

Don't know why you suddenly cannot be found in Google for that search phrase, because your site is well indexed in Google and other search engines.

Maybe the fact that the titles of all your pages are exactly the same ("guerre stellari |-o-| star wars") has something to do with it. Google attaches a lot of weight to website titles (and less to description and keyword meta data), so I would suggest changing that so each page has a different and descriptive title. Even worse, maybe it's seeing all your pages as duplicate content because the titles are the same (your site has a lot of supplemental results)? Who knows, with Google ...

I don't think the ASCII art in the tile in itself has anything to do with your decline in the SERPs.

As far as your site layout is concerned, I think it's generally good, but your header is too big IMHO - both in width (not everyone has computer monitors that big, so they have to scroll sideways) and in height (you're wasting a lot of valuable website real estate).

And I think some of your pages, like the front page, are too long, resulting in visitors having to scroll down too much and a lot of blank space. Try and shorten your pages.

Your site is in Italian and if you want to attract foreign visitors, you might want to include a translate function.
