![]() | I'd say this domain (undeveloped) is worth only the reg price ... sorry ![]() Why? It's a .net (so there is a "better" TLD, the .com), it's an unusual spelling (people are more likely to type in computerforums), it's not a unique idea (there are other computer forums), etc. These days it's rare that a domain alone is worth a lot ... unless it has some history, high PR, or is a cool name like vodka.com which sold for $3 mil recently. Of course if you develop it and make it popular, it could be worth more. |

![]() | regfee if undeveloped, IMHO. 'z' is not a good company name. It is more likely to target teen audiences.. |

![]() ![]() | OK thankyou for all your feedback! ![]() According to domaintops.com: Based by its keywords, our analysis system estimates your domain (COMPUTERFORUMZ.NET) is worth near... $1,354 Google Results: 545 Number of exact Overture results: 0 Alexa Ranking: 0 Number of Words/Parts: 2 Amount Deducted for Alexa: $0 Number of Characters: 14 Number of Hyphens: 0 Amount Deducted for Length: $8 Amount Deducted for Hyphens: $0 Review & Advice We're still adding advice for domains rated this high or higher, but this domain has lots of potential in development, especially if you want its value to double or triple.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hi there, Quote:
That is a rough (very rough) estimate. It is automated, you can't rely on something electronic to calculate a price for you. A domain is worth whatever is it to the seller and the buyer, if someone wants a domain that bad they will pay whatever they can to get it. A few factors about the domain is that the "z" is there, like kokopelli said people instinctively put the "s" there first. So you lost a lot of traffic that way. Plus like kokopelli said again, people tend to put .com first (again instinctively) because it is the most popular domain extension. Don't get me wrong though .net is a top end TLD but .com is always better to have. Just develop the domain, get some god backlinks, get loads of traffic and some good revenue - and your domain will nurture it's own value. But don't jump to conclusions, like I said a domains value is entirely up to whatever the purchaser wants and can pay. Regards, Kieran Taylor. | |

![]() | I specialize in domain sales, from doing research on your domain, there is no overture. Keyword contains z in the end which brings down the value. Since the computerforumz.com is not ranked and has minimal traffic. This will bring down the value of your domain. Overall your domain is worth $0 - $10. Good luck with the sale. Always remember, if you do purchase a domain not containing a .com, make sure the .com is a success or at least high in overture for the keywords. computerforum.net has high value computerforums.net high value computerforumz.com low value, because most domaienrs wont type in "Z". Unless the developers of the forum are rich and establish a key role in the site, and make it successful.... than you have a chance. GOOD LUCK |

| Newcomer | My friend, Just in case you didn't know. The domain name aftermarket value is growing almost daily soon after the successful story of milliondollarhomepage site, sales of sex.com, and takeover of youtube.com site for a large sum of money. If you are planning to get into the domain name selling then you better opt for names as short as possible or a unique, rare names because dictionery names so called premium domain names are almost impossible to find these days. Sedo, afternic people have dominated the domain selling market. However, there are still chances of running a domain selling website of your own so that you could sell yours and at the same time make the people pay for listing just like http://www.unisafedomains.com. Meanwhile, your domain name doesn't have a good aftermarket value unless you use it by yourself. Good luck.

![]() | Domains are only worth what a buyer is willing to pay, I believe personally appraisals are bogus. Adice to anyone is NEVER pay for one, unless its with a very reputable company (Sedo, afternic, etc) and you truly believe that it will increase the chance of selling your domain name. People are going to pay what they can or whats it worth to them. For example no one is going to pay $5000 for webtalk.com (no affiliation) just because a appraisal said its worth that, they will just go and buy webchat.com or something similiar that they can get from another person for $500.
