The reason Google and Yahoo can keep their prices higher is by their name recognition - many people know and trust the names of Google and Yahoo, so they feel confident in doing business with them, even if it costs a few bucks more. And IF Google or Yahoo are just a GoDaddy reseller, they may just be setting the prices a bit higher because they have a minimum profit margin requirement, and if they're not making a certain profit from each sale, they won't bother playing the game. | |

| Re: Register Domains at Google Now! Google's domain is $10 including private registration. GoDaddy is $8.95 + $6.99 (private registration). If GoDaddy has promotion, the domain is $6.99 + $1.95. If you have coupon code, you can get more discount. So GoDaddy should adjust its price. Quote:
